Change of Address

As newly-arriving students you are required by the U.S. to report your address.  Because we get your addresses from LionPATH to send to SEVIS, you must update your information in LionPATH.  If you move or any of your information changes, you are required to update LionPATH within 10 days of the change.

When in LionPath, go to Student Records and click Address Information.

Permanent Address:
This your address outside of the United States

Local Address:
Must be where you live/sleep while attending Penn State. The formats below meets United States Postal Service (USPS) standards.

City, State, ZIP code

For residence hall addresses:

Student's Official Name
Room Number, Residence Hall* Name  (*Add the word "Hall" after the residence hall name)

Phone Number:
There are fields to enter Local, Permanent, Mobile, and Emergency cell numbers.

We request that all of the phone number fields be updated even if they are the same.  In other words, if the local and the mobile number are the same, that is OK, but complete both fields.

Outside the United States, voicemail may not be something you use. However, we request you set up your voicemail box while you're here.  In a very high percentage of cases when we must call a student, we get a recording that “this student has a voicemail box that has not been set up.” When we call, we are calling about something very important.  Ensure you set up your voicemail and check it regularly.
