Do your research

As you plan your international travel:

  1. Look up each country you will be visiting on the U.S. Department of State Country Information website.  Review the Travel Advisory section.  Then scroll down to read all of the sections, particularly “Safety and Security,” “Local Laws & Special Circumstances,” “Health,” and “Travel and Transportation.”
  2. Look up the CDC guidance for your country to identify any health risks and necessary immunizations.
  3. Consult the WorldWatch travel information for the country and city you plan to visit.
